The Way Isn’t Selling
Once upon a time Awake & Alert Accountancy, a small firm of some 15 accountants and book-keepers led by Chris Alert and Sam Awake, were trying to attract and capture clients of the right quality, with the correct fee level, in a highly competitive market. They thought they had to use all sorts of sales tools, techniques and tricks to grow their business.
Every day they made lots of sales pitches to prospective clients, got rejected and felt very confused and totally downcast.

Because of that they started to have different conversations with clients and prospective clients, using no sales techniques at all.
Because of that they got new clients and prospective clients eagerly, joyfully and enthusiastically saying ‘Yes!’ to them.
